acr ResQFlare E-Flare Safety Kit - Marine Boat Flare Meeting USCG Boating Requirements
The new ACR ResQFlare with Distress Flag is designed as a replacement for vessels required to carry USCG flares. This Nighttime Visual Distress Signal combines the ResQFlare and the included Distress Flag to provide a safe alternative to pyrotechnic flares.
The ResQFlare offers 360-degree visibility, with a bright SOS strobe light that can be seen from over 6 miles away. The user-replaceable C-Cell Alkaline batteries (not included) power the high-efficiency LED light, which has an operational life of more than 20 hours at 75 candela - over 3 times longer than the USCG requirement.
Certified under USCG 161.013 as a Nighttime Visual Distress Signal, the ResQFlare and Distress Flag combination qualifies as a replacement for USCG pyrotechnic flares (in the USA only). The waterproof (IP67) design automatically rights itself and floats when in the water, without the need for a separate buoyancy or flotation ring.
Compact and lightweight, the ResQFlare provides a bright, 360-degree visible light that can be seen from over 6 miles away. The included Distress Flag is certified under USCG 160.072 as a Daytime Visual Distress Signal, completing the comprehensive signaling solution.
The Boat Flare Kit includes several essential survival items: - The ACR RapidDitch Dry Bag provides a convenient and compact way to store all the gear, with an included attachment strap. - The ACR C-Strobe is a USCG and SOLAS approved LED life jacket emergency signal with three modes: strobe, steady-on, and SOS. It has an extensive continuous operating life of over 120 hours in strobe mode and is waterproof for up to 24 hours at a depth of 1 meter. - The Daytime Signal Mirror harnesses the power of the sun to help rescuers locate the user in daylight conditions.
